Update 1. How to enroll an account for a beta?

Have you seen a cool update and want to enroll an account for a beta? Here’s how you can do it:

  • Step 1: Make sure you are logged into the right account.
  • Step 2: Click on your profile picture.
  • Step 3: Click on Product Updates.
  • Step 4: Select Betas in the left sidebar.
  • Step 5: Search for the specific beta and click on ‘Join beta’.

Update 2. Bulk Domain change

From the content management dashboard, marketers can now bulk change the domain of pages.

When customers previously wanted to change the domain of their pages, they would have to individually edit each page and update the domain. Now this can be done in bulk providing substantial time savings when switching over many pages to a different domain at once.

Update 3. [Public Beta] Leads in Prospecting Workspace

Prospecting reps have a hard job: they have to organize all the information about their assigned leads, figure out which ones to prioritize, execute excellent outreach, and also remember which data in the CRM to update. Oh, and they have to do it all under the pressure of a monthly quota.

Now, all the information they need is organized and at their fingertips, right from the Prospecting Workspace.

Update 4. [Public Beta] Improved module experience in the blog post editor

Earlier in 2023, the the module insertion feature in the blog post editor was released. This feature allows you to drag and drop modules into the rich text area of your blog posts. However, we understand users wanted better flexibility with the modules in the editor for quick and easy updates such as repositioning and cloning modules.

The improved module insertion experience in the blog post editor allows you to:

  • Drag custom HubL modules.
  • Clone modules.
  • Reposition modules.
  • Copy/paste modules across blog post.

Update 5. [Public Beta] Mobile Sales Email Thread Summarization

First of all, this is a really cool update for Sales! Mobile sales reps can now quickly and easily gain the context on any given CRM email thread, and receive a full email thread summary within seconds.

Sales reps can now elevate their productivity game by quickly responding to emails from the HubSpot mobile app wherever, whenever.

Providing mobile sales reps with a tool to give them an instant bite-size summary puts them on track to quickly respond to the latest incoming email with little to no effort. Increasing your communications productivity has a direct impact on your overall productivity as a sales rep.

Update 6. [Public Beta] Gauge Visualizations in Custom Report Builder

The custom report builder now supports gauge visualizations. Gauges make it easy to understand how your data is performing compared to defined ranges!

Typical visualizations like lines, bars, and pies are great at displaying data when looking at trends or proportions but often are lacking when trying to determine how a metric is performing against a specific range. Gauges make it easy to understand if your metric is above or below where you want it to be.

So this kind of report is especially useful when reporting on targets.

Update 7. [Public Beta] Random Split Branch in Workflows

Customers can now use workflows to randomly split enrolled records into evenly sized groups for workflow experimentation.

Previously, to create random segments in workflows, customers had to write their own code or use elaborate workarounds with lists or properties. The lack of a straightforward solution hindered marketers' ability to quickly test, analyze, and refine their workflows to achieve the best business outcomes.

This new functionality opens up a world of possibilities for marketers to experiment with different channels and tactics. For example, marketers looking to encourage leads to sign up for an event, could send half of the eligible attendees an email and half of them an SMS, to see which strategy results in more registrations.

So this kind of report is especially useful when reporting on targets.

Update 8. Contact Lifecycle Stage Properties

You will now have access to four new HubSpot-defined contact properties to track the progression of a contact as it moves through lifecycle stages:

  • Date entered {stage id}
  • Date exited {stage id}
  • Latest time in {stage id}
  • Cumulative time in {stage id}

You'll be able to use these new properties in both reporting and workflows, and see the history of these properties.

Access the latest time and cumulative time that a contact spends in each stage as it progresses through the contact pipeline's lifecycle stages, for use in reporting and workflows.

Update 9. Video module in CTAs

You can now add videos to your new CTAs.

Video has been topping the list of content forms that marketers are interested in these days. With this latest update, you can now add video into your HubSpot CTAs in order to better engage with your website visitors.

This update is available to CMS and Marketing Starter, Pro and Enterprise.

 

Update 10. Conditional Property Logic

Conditional property logic enables admins to show (and require) the right properties at the right time across the CRM. Today, in the ‘customize the create record’ page, admins can set conditional logic for properties that have been added to the ‘create record' form. Now, admins will be able to set conditional logic for enumeration properties regardless of whether they have been added to the ‘create record’ form. This logic will be triggered when reps make edits to properties across the CRM.

If a property is required, users will not be able to save their changes until the required property has been filled.

Conditional property logic is a powerful tool to help you safeguard data quality and create a streamlined experience for reps interacting with records. This data management tool will help CRM admins lay the foundations for clean data and a smooth rep experience by guaranteeing that required information isn’t missing. It will also save time spent chasing down incomplete data.
